gothic-industrial-new-romantic.

Imagine a cross between KMFDM, Gary Numan, the Sweet, N.I.N., with a big dash of 80s gothic-rock and you'll get close as to what you can expect from Virus X. Locomotive industrial percussion and razorblade guitars remind of KMFDM, the song structures & minimal synth arrangements remind of Gary Numan, vocals also remind of the Sweet mixed with N.I.N. & Numan.

The music on this demo has great potential once released on CD. Ian writes catchy and powerful songs. Great hooks. For my money, he does love gone wrong lyrics a million times better than N.I.N. The production might not quite be up at that level yet, but i certainly like the songs better. I suspect it's the English sound & style that I prefer. 8 tracks over 40 minutes. If you're big on modern industrial-rock music with the best elements of the early 80s, contact the band for either a copy of this demo, or to find out when a CD will be out:
