Mimetic Field "over-rated"

electronic - industrial - acid - trance

Get this while you can! A brilliant journey of epic proportions through cutting-edge electronica, acid-industrial-trance, electronic body music, tribal techno, and operatic orchestral theatrical soundscapes. At times this reminds of Juno Reactor, sometimes of Laibach's theatre soundtrack "Krst Pod Triglavom" (that's very high praise from me), sometimes like Test Dept. and sometimes a bit Skinny Puppyish without the angst.

While it's largely instrumental, there are many vocal samples in various languages and some rare but subdued singing but without choruses or such, but still highly effective. This album is sort of like what Doubting Thomas and various other cinematic-electro projects have tried to achieve, but Jerome Soudan & Mimetic Field HAS achieved it. Masterpiece! Very limited edition, 10 tracks span 57 minutes. The CD cover for the CD I received consists of an X-ray.

Available from 30DM or equal in other currencies from:

Jerome Soudan, loewestrasse 5, d-10249, berlin, germany.[email protected]
