::: Anthony Olsen ::: "Crazy Space Ballet: A Collection of Underwater Outerspace Landscapes"

blue line

ambient acid electronica

This is ultra-very-highly recommended!!!!

Anthony Olsen, formerly known as: 'Wall Scape Paper Lounge', now as 'Locii': "Crazy Space Ballet: A Collection of Underwater Outerspace Landscapes" Well this is the bee's-knees for me. Awesome, brilliant, words can't describe how good I think this music is. I first heard this a few years on a tape from Subversive Records, but now it's available on CDR. This is THE best ambient electronica I've ever heard. 11 tracks of spaced-out mellowness and trippy ambience - the title says it all. Analogue-synth heaven.

While some tracks are driven by mellow and quirky beats by and large this is beatless. Skip all (well, most of) the hyped up electronic projects that you read about in the street press, here's something much much much better, and sadly unrecognised. Go fetch it. If you dig stuff like Brian Eno's album "Ambient: on land" or early ambient Aphex Twin and the like, well, this is up there and better.

For Anthony's current incarnation of music as "locii" check out: www.mp3.com/locii. Price is $8 + $4 p&h from Subversive Records: PO Box 579 Port Melbourne Vic. 3207 Australia E-mail: [email protected] Web: http://subversive.itgo.com/

Or E-mail Mr. Olsen: [email protected]
