Scratch my Nose ::: "Screw"

just plain weird

Hmm...... Hmmm, .... well, er, ... hmmm, this is just a tiny little bit ...weird. I don't know what happened to Tim & Lars in their childhood but I certainly am glad it didn't happen to me. Nevertheless they do sound as though they're insanely happy, wherever they are, and that's the main thing. Musically it reminds me of fellow Australian splatter-jazz-noise makers Peril, as well as the silliness of early Butthole Surfers and I suppose Ween too, though I'm not terribly familiar with Ween stuff. Schizophrenic sample-laden musical blurbs are interspersed with maniacal vocal incantations on the most silly of things. Spread over 76 minutes are over 40 tracks with titles like: "I am going to eat your doggy", "nightmare on sesame st.", "pashing marcia brady", 90210 time in the portaloo". If you need a cure for your sanity, the prescription is avilable from Scratch My Nose.

$10 aust. from: 2nd floor 12 Cunningham St. Haymarket 2000 NSW Australia.
