Various - Clan Analogue ::: "Cognition"

electronica - techno -acid - trance

This is something I came across at the last minute and thought I'd mention. Here's 2 CDs full of groovey acidy-housey electronica. It's all pretty darn good and just enough variety to keep it interesting. Though, maybe I'm not in the right mood, but 2 CDs seems a bit much (well too much to review quickly as I'm trying to!) though certainly good value for your dollars. It has all the main clan names of the present such as Dark Network, B(if)tek, Artificial, Telemetry Orchestra, Atone, Moo, Inertia, Ali Omar, 5000 Fingers of Dr. T and many more who are equally good, but I just haven't heard of them before.

Many of these projects have full CDs out which are excellent stuff from what I've heard. For an insight into the electronica from Sydney and Canberra check this out (though there's a few Melbourne acts) but check out the Zeitgeist comps for Melbourne-centric stuff).
