Blatant Propaganda CD:::: TDM = "Nothing Final" (2001) BPCD015
alternative electronica pop industrial track-list || price || reviews
1. Sleep
Out of Stock.
"... This is one well done album... With sounds that hint at early Bowie guitar, Petshop Boy vocals and a hint of milder Curve contruction, it has a feeling of pop that means this release would do very well if picked up by one of the majors. The track 'Clean' although slow is probably the best example of that. Whilst tracks like 'Stoned' had a VAST (first album) feeling... the leading track 'Sleep' is exactly that, a leading track, and could make a nice dancefloor hit. The use of Maya Angel for vocals on the 'Amazing Grip' leaves you hanging for more... One person suggested an almost Chemical Brothers feel to the music in the back ground. The use of subtle drumming on this album was wonderful, leaving you with a sense of space most bands neglet to remember, occasionaly building up for the more impressive parts of the arrangements. As far as the final release of the recording it is fantastic! Self recorded and mixed I would like to see what Peter could do in production for other bands. If you can get yourself a copy of this album then do so. I myself have lost my copy to a very excited lover of the music. I hope that it is nothing final from TDM." Andrew - Primary Darkwave Group, Australia, February2002.
