REVIEWS:

"... Simple Life embraces some of the stadium style of the obvious biggies such as the Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers but from there things get considerably more dark and weird. Tracks such as "The Dirty Ocean" and "No You" ride the crest of the more up-beat and accessible material with huge beats and up front vocals and "Country" is an inspirational example of largely instrumental textures.
Much of the rest of the album sinks to a slower, darker place with a lyrical style ode to the nastier new romantics of the 80's (think Echo and the Bunnymen perhaps). Overall, the programming and production is the highlight of the album... There are plenty of weird and wonderful sounds weaving through a variety of electronic beats (headphone heaven) and the potential is there for powerful live renditions." Martin Jones - In Press Magazine Oct 29th 1997
