Continuum "Neurosis"
Continuum was activated during late 1991 in Canberra when n-Entropy
and g-Quantum chanced upon the coalescence of scientific theory and
musical structure. After realising the inadequacies of the afore-mentioned
theories, Continuum set about reconstructing the modern sonic edifice.
Recommencing their existence in Melbourne brought a new epoch in the
perimeters of sound. They have made many diverse performances throughout
the nineties, from shopping arcades to warehouse parties, rave chill-out
rooms, cutting edgenightclubs, touring with the Big Day Out as well
as performing a live improvised soundtrack to Australia's first public
screening of the eight-hour Andy Warhol film "Empire".

Dark Network "Pizza"
Dark Network is a collaboration between BoDaley and Tim O'Loghlin. They
began working together in 1993 during the early days of Clan Analogue
Canberra. Dark Network's early material featured a strong electro-industrial
tinge, until founder Mike Dowling left to start up his own rival musical
project. Since then Dark Network's music has shifted its emphasis towards
dub-tinged minimal electronic compositions, with regular performances
at Sydney's legendary Klub Kooky and a number of tracks on compilation
CDs and vinyl EPs. Now resident in Melbourne, the group is currently
finishing off their new album, due for release in 2002. They have released

E.L.F. "A Nice Walk in the Park" & "Puppets..."
E.L.F. spawned from EYE in 1996: inspired by a headlining appearance
on the Clan Analogue stage at the 1996 Sydney Big Day Out with the members
of B(if)tek and Dark Network. Originally known as "aya", E.L.F. is designed
to showcase the non-industrial, non-vocal, dancier electroid noises
made by EYE. E.L.F. tracks range from dark and heavy industrial drum
& bass (though some of these are no w being reassigned as DJ Citizen)
to ambientish bubbling analogue acid, from cutesy electronica big-beat
to thumping techno, electro, house and trance. E.L.F. has featured on
over 12 compilation CDs, received airplay on Radio JJJ's Saturday night
"mixup" show, over 30,000 MP3 dloads (& climbing) in the
past 12 months at mp3.com and regular airplay on Australian Community
Radio stations.
"A NiceWalk in the Park" is an edit of that taken from the
upcoming 2003 factory-pressed CD. "Puppets" was originally
released on EYE's CD "Politics can
be Fun - Volume 1" (1999) and marked as an "aya mutation".
However, the track is much more reflective of E.L.F. than of EYE - hence
it's re-release here.

EYE has been culture-jamming through numerous media since 1991, choosing
to spend most of this time in the diy (do-it-yourself) world of underground

influences from industrial to drumNbass, from acid to punk. EYE's most
recent CD "Politics can be Fun - Volume 1" featured the cameo-vocals
of numerous Australian politicians. Various tracks such as "Mandate!"
were favourites on many community radio stations and received numerous
rave reviews. The video to "Mandate!" was shown on several national
music programs. And yes, it's true, EYE were threatened with arrest
during the filming of this video; for jamming and dancing about in grim
reaper outfits, gas masks and John Howard masks at Parliament House.
There is a tonne of EYE propaganda at the web-site.
